1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using HugrVault, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

HugrVault provides a comprehensive digital legacy platform that includes secure storage for digital assets (HugrVault), legacy content creation (HugrSaga), transition management (HugrBridge), family portal access (HugrHall), security monitoring (HugrGuard), and AI-powered guidance (HugrGuide).

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • • All activities that occur under your account
  • • Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
  • • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • • Keeping your executor and beneficiary information current
  • • Not using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. Data Security and Privacy

We implement industry-leading security measures, including 256-bit AES encryption, to protect your data. All sensitive information is encrypted both at rest and in transit. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we handle your digital essence.

5. Account Access and Executors

You maintain complete control over your digital legacy:

  • • You may designate executors who can access your digital assets according to your specified rules
  • • You can change executors, access rules, and trigger conditions at any time
  • • Executor access is only granted after proper verification and according to your defined triggers
  • • You remain in full control of your account and can revoke or modify access at any time

6. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in HugrVault. By using our service, you grant us only the limited rights necessary to provide the service to you and your designated beneficiaries. We will never use your content for any other purpose.

7. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain 99.9% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to improve the service. We will provide advance notice of planned maintenance when possible.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination:

  • • Your data will be securely deleted within 30 days
  • • Your executors will no longer have access to your digital legacy
  • • You can export your data before deletion

We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately if you breach these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

HugrVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the liability.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of HugrVault after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
